Armored Core is a video game about mercenary Mecha pilots in the distant future in a post-apocalyptic world where corporations rule all. The main action of the game is about customizing up to three personalized Armored Cores (AC's for short) and taking on missions piloting the AC from a third person perspective.
An AC can be customized heavily - for both form and function. There are any number of combinations of parts allowing players to create vastly different ACs from each other. The other fun aspect of the game is of course the game play, which includes a head to head multiplayer option. It has been put out exclusively for the playstation, playstation 2, and PSP.
